Oh, look another week, another skincare post. I always feel people skip over the topic of toners; both in their actual skincare and when they tell you about their routine. So I thought I'd show a little love to the Garnier Skinactive Refreshing Botanical Toner which I picked up a few weeks back and have been loving...

For my blemish prone skin and especially considering I also use acid exfoliators, I like to find and use toning products that are more soothing and/or contain natural ingredients. So when I saw this new launch from Garnier I had to try it. This is Garnier's first 'natural' toner, made with 96% of the ingredients being from natural sources. 

I like the fact the toner contains Aloe Extract which is known for its hydrating and skin repairing properties, an added bonus for the normal to combination skin types it is targeted at! Moreover, this toner has no parabens, silicones, alcohol, or artificial colourants which, for me means little chance of reacting badly or breaking out. It is worth noting that this toner is quite fragrant which could cause irritation if you're particularly sensitive! 

For the last few week's I've used this morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturising with no problems. There has been no reaction's to scent, nor has my skin been left feeling dry or tight; my skin seems to like this a lot. It's been a great little addition to my skincare routine and for under £3 (200ml), this is an affordable option I'll no doubt re-purchase.
